MemberMan LLC (“MemberMan”) operates several websites including memberman.com and memberman.org. It is MemberMan's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, MemberMan collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. MemberMan's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how MemberMan’s visitors use its website. From time to time,MemberMan may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

MemberMan also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users. MemberMan only discloses logged in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us. The amount and type of information that MemberMan gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for a free trial at MemberMan.com to provide an email address, name, and organization name. We may ask for additional contact information if you decide to keep and pay for your MemberMan service. This information is used for billing and internal purposes only. MemberMan does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Gathering Information About Your Members

MemberMan allows you to gather and store information about your members (“End User Members"). In order to provide you with the Services, we also receive and store any information that you choose to provide us with respect to your members. The End User Member information (“End User Customer Information") we receive and store typically includes names and email addresses of your customers, but will consist of any information you choose to provide us with. This information belongs to you.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Technologies such as cookies, beacons, scripts and tags are used by MemberMan and our third party partners. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the website, collecting payments, tracking users’ movements around the site, and gathering demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual and aggregated basis. Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing these types of tracking technologies.

MemberMan discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, partners, and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on MemberMan behalf or to provide services available at MemberMan's websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using MemberMan's websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. MemberMan will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, MemberMan discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when MemberMan believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of MemberMan, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of MemberMan and have supplied your email address, MemberMan may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with MemberMan and our products.

In order to provide great support we may collect personally-identifying information about you or your End User Members who login to your MemberMan service. This information may include email address, name, and other information about your account and their login data that we may need in order to provide assistance. End User Members may receive email notifications automatically generated by MemberMan, and we may contact your End User Members in order to complete a support request.

MemberMan takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. MemberMan uses cookies to help MemberMan identify and track visitors, their usage of MemberMan service, and their website access preferences. MemberMan visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using MemberMan’s service, with the drawback that certain features of MemberMan’s service may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Notice to European Union users

MemberMan's operations are located primarily in the United States. If you provide information to us, the information will be transferred out of the European Union (EU) to the United States. By providing personal information to us, you are consenting to its storage and use as described herein.

Information collected from children

You must be at least 13 years old to use MemberMan's Web site(s) and service(s). MemberMan does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. (See the [U.S.] Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.)

Business Transfers

If MemberMan, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that MemberMan goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of MemberMan may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, MemberMan may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in MemberMan’s sole discretion. MemberMan encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
